Review by hotel critic
Nestled in the picturesque countryside near the renowned Bran Castle, Casa Dora is a charming retreat offering a blend of value and luxury. The morning spread, featuring a hearty selection including eggs, butter, jam, and tea, sets the tone for a day of exploration. The cordial hosts create a welcoming atmosphere, enhancing the overall experience. While the hotel lacks certain commercial services and amenities, such as extravagant Jacuzzis and flat-screen TVs, it compensates with a cozy sitting area and a delightful outdoor dining space. The absence of pets and dedication to non-smoking rooms ensure a tranquil stay for all guests. With free parking and Wi-Fi available, Casa Dora caters to practical needs without compromising on comfort. For those seeking affordability without sacrificing on quality, this lodge strikes a harmonious balance between cost-effectiveness and relaxation, making it an ideal base for adventurous travelers exploring the Carpathian Mountains.
